Renew Physical Therapy

Holistic Pelvic and Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Helping women and men with orthopedic and pelvic health conditions get back to doing what they love.

Meet Dr. Lauren Boscaini

Physical Therapist

Growing up and dealing with some serious and painful back issues lead me to my career as a physical therapist. It took years for me to find someone  to properly treat my symptoms and impairments to give me relief. From my experience, I have been motivated to truly help men and women with orthopedic and/or pelvic issues reach their personal goals of a pain free life, enabling them to do what they love.

I was a collegiate tennis player for my four years of undergraduate at Indiana Wesleyan University. Following undergrad I completed three years of graduate school at Bellarmine University, where I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. My first two years out of school I worked in a fast paced outpatient orthopedic clinic where I treated a range of clientele from jaw issues to pelvic pain and everything in-between. Following this job I continued my practice in orthopedic and pelvic health care in a hospital outpatient center and at a functional medicine office.

Through all my different experiences as a physical therapist, it has taught me the value of treating in a holistic approach, which has changed my patients outcomes in a positive way. There is nothing I love more than helping people get to where they want to be to and reach their personal goals!

Why Physical Therapy?

It can help with

Orthopedic Issues

From TMD to plantar fasciitis and any musculoskeletal issue.

Abdominal Issues

Constipation, IBS, abdominal bloating, diastasis recti, or just general abdominal pain.

Detoxification

By working on visceral mobility and abdominal fascial restrictions to supplement detox.

Pelvic Health

Urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, painful intercourse (dyspareunia), vaginal/rectal pain, urinary urgency/frequency, IC/painful bladder, scar tissue from perineal tears or c-section scars, and prolapse.

Testimonials

"I began seeing Lauren to treat postpartum hip and pelvic pain, and in the process have gained a greater understanding of my body and how it move it safely and effectively. She has worked with me to alleviate pain and strengthen my body,  but in doing so I have found confidence seeing how my body is able to heal with her guidance. My sessions have become my favorite form of self care." -C.R.
